Ron M. Blair, MD, FAAP, is a board-certified pediatrician with a lifelong commitment to improving the lives of children and their families in Dallas. He is a member of the Children Are Special (CARES) Steering Committee, a network of physicians committed to the belief that the independent private practice of medicine remains the best solution for the patient, physician and the country. He employs his leadership skills and community experience to inspire pediatricians to collaborate in the formation of CARES, a private pediatric network.
Dr. Blair is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics. He completed his undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University and received his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science at San Antonio. He completed his pediatric internship and residency at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston.
Forest Lane Pediatrics, founded by Dr. Blair, has expanded to ten physicians with office locations in Dallas and Plano. Before coming to Dallas, he practiced in Sherman, Texas where he managed private practices as well as hospital owned practices.
He is a member of the Texas Pediatric Society, Dallas County Medical Society, Texas Medical Association and the American Medical Association. Dr. Blair lives in Dallas with his wife, Gypsie, and the youngest of their four sons.

The purpose of Children are Special Pediatric Network is to promote and protect the private practice of pediatric medicine by providing the infrastructure and support necessary to allow private pediatricians to compete in the new healthcare paradigm.
