Stacy Terry, MD, is a member of the Children Are Special (CARES) Steering Committee. She has worked for a non-profit pediatric care center, a private practice, and has taught pediatrics to family medicine residents. During her career, she has been on staff at 16 hospitals exchanging knowledge and learning from many professionals along the way. Prior to establishing Best Nest Pediatrics, she worked 10 years taking care of children who were ill enough to require hospitalization. From short stays to complex medical mysteries, this challenging work has greatly strengthened her skills.
Children Are Special (CARES) is committed to the belief that the independent private practice of medicine remains the best solution for the patient, physician and the country. The purpose of Children are Special Pediatric Network is to promote and protect the private practice of pediatric medicine by providing the infrastructure and support necessary to allow private pediatricians to compete in the new healthcare paradigm.
